Hello ACS Students and Families,
It has been a busy summer at Alton Central School. We are incredibly excited to begin the 2024-2025 school year with each of you. The teachers and staff have been working hard to create positive and engaging learning environments for your child(ren).
The annual Alton Central School Open House will be held on August 28th from 4 to 6 p.m. Please visit the cafeteria for our first "Popsicles with the Principals" event.
The updated 2024-2025 Student/Parent Handbook and First Student bus schedules have been posted on the ACS website. Please take a moment to review these with your child(ren).
To further support student learning, some changes to this school year include the following:The school day will begin at 7:45 and end at 2:50, including our preschool program. This change allows students in all grade levels to start their day and be dismissed simultaneously. Students arriving after 7:45 a.m. may still receive breakfast until 8:10 a.m. and bring it to their classroom to eat during the morning meeting or advisory block.Dismissal will begin promptly at 2:50. If you need to dismiss your child before 2:50, please do so through the front office.The cost of student lunch has increased to $3.25.We look forward to seeing you at the next Open House. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact the school at 603-875-7500.

2024 Girls on the Run wrapped up with a 5 K on June 1st. Thank you to everyone who coached and participated this year!
Thank you to Mr. Pappaceno, Mr. Neveu, Mr. Major and Señora d'Empaire- Poirier for volunteering to participate in our "Penny Wars" ! The students were so excited to watch the game and especially excited to see Señora take a full pie to the face! Thank you to all who supported this fundraiser.
