Local author Ralph Fletcher visited students at ACS on Monday, May 12th. He shared some of his well known books and had discussions with students in grade 5-8 about the writing process. Thank you to Mr. Fletcher for sharing his knowledge and expertise with our students.

ACS 7th & 8th grade students had a blast attending New Hampshire Forest Career Field Day at Bear Brook State Park.










Congratulations to the talented cast and dedicated crew of The Wizard of Oz on a spectacular performance-bravo to each and every one of you. Your hard work and passion truly brought the magic of Oz to life for the ACS community.










Today award-winning, New Hampshire children's author Matt Forrest Esenwine visited Alton Central School for a special series of presentations and workshops. The students enjoyed their time with this amazing author.

ACS had the pleasure of having the TIGER program from Plymouth State here to put on a presentation for our K-4 students. Thank you for an amazing performance.

Alton Central School grade 6-8 band and chorus students provided a spectacular performance with students from Barnstead Elementary and Prospect Mountain High School to a packed auditorium this evening. Many thanks to our dedicated and talented band and chorus directors for their guidance and leadership to our musicians and choral members. Bravo!
