School Hours

School Hours K-8

• For the 2022-2023 school year, the hours at Alton Central School are 8:05 AM - 2:50 PM, Monday - Friday.

• Before school:

  • Teachers are on duty at 7:30 AM

  • Students may be dropped off AFTER 7:30AM

• After school:

  • Teachers are on duty until 3:15 PM

  • Appointments are suggested, as teachers also have professional development activities, committee meetings, and student meetings during this time

  • All teachers are in staff meetings on 1st and 3rd Mondays from 3:00 - 4:00 PM

PreSchool Hours

• Preschool is in session: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

• AM session 8:10AM-10:40AM

• PM session 12:05PM-2:35PM

• Preschool is not in session on Wednesdays

Early Release

• Please see the School Calendar for Early Release dates.

• Students will be dismissed at 12:30pm.

• Students will be served lunch.
