ACS had a sneak peak of Peter Pan Jr. the Musical this afternoon. The kids put on an amazing show but left us all wondering how will it end? Well you can find out Thursday and Friday evening at 6:30 at PMHS. Come on out and support this amazing cast and stage hands. Tickets will be sold at the door.

Mrs. Cowan's class made some fun eclipse glasses protective covers to go very their Solar Eclipse glasses.
Due to widespread power outages and impassable roads, Alton Central School, Barnstead Elementary School, and Prospect Mountain High School will be closed on Friday, April 5. There will be no school and no remote learning schedule. Stay warm and safe.
Alton Central School, Barnstead Elementary School, and Prospect Mountain High School will have a two-hour delay tomorrow morning, Friday, April 5. If a cancellation becomes necessary, that announcement will be made in the morning. Until then, all students and staff should plan on a two-hour delay.
Thursday, April 4th. Widespread power and internet outages today may present a challenge to log on and complete classwork. We will continue with the remote day, ask students and teachers to do what they can, and understand that some may not be able to access Google Classroom. Absences will be excused. Stay safe and warm.

Based on the forecast of snow accumulations of up to 18", tomorrow, April 4th, will be a Blizzard Bag day for students in grades K-3 and a Remote Learning day for students in grades 4-12. Principals will send a follow-up email with Blizzard Bag/Remote Learning expectations.

Due to the impending storm and the April 5th early release, there will be a change to the school day on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. April 3rd will be an early release for all students while Friday, April 5th will be a full day.
We will continue to monitor the storm. If a cancellation on Thursday, April 4th is necessary, that day will be a Blizzard Bag day for students in K - 3 and a remote day for students in grades 4 - 12.
