Congratulations to Scripp's Spelling Bee runner up Damon and champion Devereaux! It was a tough battle and the competition was fierce! A wonderful job by all participants. We are so proud of you all. Good luck to Devereaux as he advances to the state level.

There will be a two hour delayed opening on Monday, January 29 at Alton Central School, Barnstead Elementary School, and Prospect Mountain High School.
Due to forecasts calling for a wintry mix throughout the day, Alton Central School will be closed on Friday, January 26.

ACS had a very special presenter today to talk to our 5th-8th grade students about kindness and respect. Chris Poulos had the students and teachers engaged as he rode his bike and demonstrated all the tricks he has learned, while explaining how far our kindness and respect will go. Big thanks to Ms. Griggs, Mr. Neveu and Ms. Bibeau volunteering to let Chris jump his bike over them. Thank you Chris Poulos!
