2024 Girls on the Run wrapped up with a 5 K on June 1st. Thank you to everyone who coached and participated this year!

The students were so excited to watch the game and especially excited to see Señora take a full pie to the face! Thank you to all who supported this fundraiser.

One of our amazing sixth grade students had a phenomenal field trip experience yesterday throwing out the first pitch at the Portland Sea Dogs game!









Ms. Hawkins class has been loving having the newly hatch chicks in their room! The students watch them hatch and now they're flying the coop!










ACS 8th Grade Students Receive Prestigious Awards
Alton Central School Students Rebekah Thomas and Stockton McKnight were each recipients for the New England League of Middle Schools Distinguished Students Scholar Leader Award on May 30, 2024. The students were presented with an award whose criteria includes demonstrating academic initiative and scholarship, providing service to classmates and school, exemplifying positive attitudes, and demonstrating leadership in the classroom and school activities. We are so proud of them both, and excited for them as representatives of Alton Central School!

ACS 7th and 8th graders had a great follow up to their unit on "The Holocaust". Author of the graphic novel " Hidden" Kati Preston came to Prospect Mountain High to share her book and her experience.



Our 7th and 8th graders enjoyed their VIP Red Carpet Semi-formal held Friday May 31st!










Alton Central had some visitors this morning! Wildlife Encounters brought some special guests. Pictured are a Monkey Tailed Lizard, an Armadillo and a Tiger Rat snake! Also shown are the new arrivals in Kindergarten 6 baby chicks!








Alton Central schools eighth graders went to visit Prospect Mountain High School this morning. They were able to see
some staff, the auditorium and the athletic facilities.
