Hello,
My name is Janice Christian. I am thrilled to be joining Alton Central School as the new Assistant Principal.
A little bit about me...I grew up in Claremont, NH. I currently reside in Hampton, NH with my husband, Jason. I am the mother of two amazing children, Nick, age 25 and Taylor, age 22.
I began my career in education in 1996 as a preschool teacher in Mansfield, MA, and have
spent the last 10 years teaching at Seabrook Elementary School (with eight of those
years teaching grade four). Prior to my time at Seabrook Elementary, I taught in grades
K-5 at the Pinecroft School in Rehoboth, MA.
Currently, I am also completing my CAGS in Educational Leadership at Southern New
Hampshire University. I received my graduate degree in Elementary Education from
Curry College and my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Endicott College.
In my spare time you will find me spending time with my family and friends throughout
the state, as well as hiking the New Hampshire 4,000 footers.
I look forward to meeting the students and families of Alton Central School and working
closely with everyone to make the school year the best it can be.
