Superintendent Timothy Broadrick is pleased to announce the launch of new websites for Alton and Banstead's schools. Between Monday and Tuesday, July 11-12, the former school websites at myacs.org, mybes.org, and pmhschool.com began forwarding to new sites at the pmsau.org domain.
"This move will allow for much more coordinated use of our websites and social media," said the superintendent. By the time schools starts in the fall, parents and students will be able to download a mobile app and have access to push notifications for daily lunch menus, school cancellations or delays, and other important school announcements."
The new platform also includes parent email, phone, and text notifications in the event of emergencies. Broadrick said, "Previously, each of our three schools had a different website platform, separate emergency notifications systems, and different strategies for using social media. This platform brings all that together at a lower cost, with easier management and training for our users."
Each school's website is set up to use the same navigation, but pages and specific information are unique to each school. Missing or incomplete pages will continue to be updated throughout the summer, with a goal of having all the sites complete and accurate by the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year.
