ACS 7th & 8th grade students had a blast attending New Hampshire Forest Career Field Day at Bear Brook State Park.
Congratulations to the talented cast and dedicated crew of The Wizard of Oz on a spectacular performance-bravo to each and every one of you. Your hard work and passion truly brought the magic of Oz to life for the ACS community.
Today award-winning, New Hampshire children's author Matt Forrest Esenwine visited Alton Central School for a special series of presentations and workshops. The students enjoyed their time with this amazing author.

Alton Central School grade 6-8 band and chorus students provided a spectacular performance with students from Barnstead Elementary and Prospect Mountain High School to a packed auditorium this evening. Many thanks to our dedicated and talented band and chorus directors for their guidance and leadership to our musicians and choral members. Bravo!

Due to the impending weather conditions, ACS will have an early release today. Students will be dismissed at 12:15, and buses will pick them up at the same time. Walkers will also be dismissed at 12:15. Parent pick-up will begin at 12:15. There will be no afternoon pre-k program, and all afternoon activities have been canceled.
