The Prospect Mountain JMA joint school board is now accepting applications for fall, 2025 admission under its open enrollment program.
Open Enrollment exists under a New Hampshire law that allows a limited number of students to attend a school outside of the district where they reside. Currently, Prospect Mountain operates the only open enrollment program in the state.
Students who wish to attend Prospect Mountain High School, but who do not live in Alton or Barnstead, may apply at THIS LINK or by typing apply.pmsau.org into any web browser.
The application portal will remain open through Friday, May 30, and students will be contacted with enrollment information shortly thereafter.
Any New Hampshire student entering 9th or 10th grade next fall may apply for fall admission. Admissions priority is given to siblings of current open enrollment students. Under open enrollment, families must provide their students' transportation to and from Prospect Mountain High School. Students with drivers' licenses are allowed to drive.
